• Embellishing Fiber
with Felting Needles – Arts Cabins 10:00am
– 4:00pm The workshop is an
introduction to felting needles as an embellishment and
fiber-painting tool. You will learn how to create artistic
layers on a background of pre-felted fabric. The process can
be applied to felted, knitted or woven backgrounds enabling
you to transform any project into a unique piece of art.
You will receive step-by-step instruction, helpful hints and
some hard learned secrets about the use of felting needles.
Needle felting is an extremely forgiving process and the
simplicity of the tool is amazing. Class fee is $55 per
person. Includes all fiber materials, two felting needles and
instruction. Students should bring a large (minimum 4" X
6") sponge or small piece of foam for a work surface.
Extra needles are available from instructor. No experience
necessary. Class size limited to 12.

Timberline Now in its second year, this
multi-day banked slalom event is held in our legendary BoneZone
terrain park - a natural gully filled with berms, banks and
log-slides.

Vegetate 2008 – Mt Hood Meadows
Freestyle skiing, snowboarding and music celebration to
commemorate the revegetation efforts for which Meadows has
received national recognition and awards. Presented by Salomon
and Full Sail Brewing.

Sculpture Workshop – Arts Cabins 10:00am
– 4:00pm An introduction to felting needles as a
three-dimensional sculpting tool. You will learn how to
transform carded batts of wool and various bits of color and
curl into a fanciful sculpture. You will receive step-by-step
instruction. At the end of the session you will have a
unique, felt friend and the skills to create many more. Needle

supplies are included. 2 hour lesson. Pre-registration is

and snowboarders “skim” across a water filled pond right
in front of the base area deck. Best judged skimmer wins a

or Sunday depending on weather) |
