BULLETIN BOARD

¨ The Sandy Historical Society is preparing for its 8th annual Quilt Show, to be held at Sandy High School in July. This event will help provide funds for the completion of the museum being built in town. Each year community members make a quilt to be raffled off by the Society. A color wash, machine appliquéd design with an old fashioned horse and buggy medallion in the center is this year’s contribution. It was machine quilted by Richard Lee of Boring. Tickets may be purchased at various Sandy locations, including Paradise Quilts, Clackamas County Bank, and Bank of America. Last year, 180 beautifully quilted items were showcased. Display applications for this year’s event are available from local quilt shops or by calling the Historical Society office at 503-668-3378. Applications will be accepted through June 15.
